Hidden cost differences

  • Enterprise SSO / SAML connections are billed per connection ($75/mo each on Pro after the first, volume-tiered down toward $15 at high connection counts), not a flat add-on.
  • Clerk branding is mandatory on the Hobby tier - removing it requires Pro.
  • Per-MRU overage at $0.02 stacks on top of the flat Pro fee once you pass the 50,000 included MRU.
Auth0
  • MAU is billed even for users who log in once and never return, until the 30-day rolling window expires.
  • Enterprise connections (SAML, ADFS, custom OIDC) require Essentials or higher even for tiny B2B logos.
  • AI Agents add-on is billed as a separate dollar-denominated tier that scales with your plan and MAU band.
