Why this site exists
Search "Okta vs Entra pricing" and every result is a SaaS-management vendor with a CTA, an aggregator with stale data, or a SI partner with a service to sell. None re-verify pricing quarterly, none publish the bundle math that makes Microsoft Entra effectively free for most M365 customers, and none model the operational cost of self-hosting an open-source alternative.
idppricing.com is the dated, sourced, quarterly-verified reference for the IdP side of the SSO procurement decision. It pairs with ssopricing.com, which covers the vendor-side SSO premium. Together they cover both halves of the procurement conversation.
What we do
- Track per-user / per-MAU pricing across 8 IdPs — live-verified from each vendor's own pricing page.
- Maintain a 12-feature support matrix across all 8 IdPs.
- Run M365 bundle math — flagging when Entra ID is effectively free.
- Model self-host TCO for Authentik (free software, real ops cost).
- Re-verify quarterly. Pre-deploy gate refuses to publish data >90 days stale.
What we don't do
- We do not sell identity, SSO, or access management products or services.
- We earn no affiliate commission on any IdP or related vendor listed.
- We do not accept sponsored placements that influence pricing claims or methodology.
- We do not editorialise IdPs as "winners" or "losers". The data is factual; the framing is neutral.
