Numbers reflect list rates at 300 seats. Negotiated rates, bundled discounts, and per-MAU billing for CIAM products will all materially change the actual invoice.

Hidden cost differences

  • MAU is billed even for users who log in once and never return, until the 30-day rolling window expires.
  • Enterprise connections (SAML, ADFS, custom OIDC) require Essentials or higher even for tiny B2B logos.
  • AI Agents add-on adds 50 percent on top of the base subscription.
WorkOS
  • Per-connection pricing scales with logo count, not user count - can be expensive for many small enterprise logos.
  • Audit Logs and User Management API tiers are billed separately above free tier.
  • Domain Verification and Magic Auth are separate line items.
